WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Take charge of a dynamic development team
- Develop new solution using Microsoft Technologies to replace legacy VB6 application.
- Collaborate with Program Architects to evolve our solution architecture and ensure a smooth transition from legacy to modern tech.
- Roll up your sleeves and dive into developing new solutions using VB.Net, C#, ASP.Net, and JavaScript.
- Perform meticulous code reviews
- Build and optimize backend database code using T-SQL and other Microsoft technologies.
- VB6: Strong experience with Visual Basic 6.
- Microsoft Technologies: Proficient in VB.Net, C#, ASP.Net, and JavaScript.
- Web Services/API: Skilled in developing and integrating Web Services/APIs.
- Software Integration: Deep experience in software integration and deployment pipelines (CI/CD) in MS DevOps.
- Source Control: Expert in using Azure DevOps or Git for source control.
- Database Expertise: Proficient in T-SQL and backend database development.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Proficient in understanding and translating business needs into technical requirements using User Stories, Business Process Maps, and Use Cases.
- Experienced in Agile software development methodologies.
- Knowledgeable in security controls requirements such as ISM and E8.
- Familiarity with the unique challenges and requirements of developing software for government agencies.
