The available position is 38 hours, Monday to Friday.

Successful applicants must hold a current paid blue card and hold or be willing to obtain their CPR, first aid, asthma & anaphylaxis certificates.
Successful applicants must:
• be someone with a Diploma qualification in early childhood education or studying Diploma in early childhood education and care.
• have knowledge of theories of learning and development.
• have extensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, or willing to gain.
• have an interest in reading widely and sharing information with other educators.
• knowledge of the strengths and challenges of different education strategies and approach in particular settings or with particular children.
• access to current research regarding early childhood curriculums.
• a desire to guide others in reflecting on their practices.
• have personal qualities and a willingness to listen as well as coach, mentor and reflect alongside their team.
• create an inspirational vision for children’s learning and curriculum collaboratively
• motivate and connect educators to work toward shared goals for children and learning.
• guide thinking about providing for the best educational outcomes for children.
• to understand how each of the EYLF Principles and Practices contributes to a high-quality learning experience.
• be able to communicate effectively with all educators and offer ideas and strategies to assist in achieving goals.
• be willing to undertake further professional development to assist them in gaining a greater knowledge within all areas of the EYLF.
