AddressJohanna Street Early Learning Centre's Leadership Team will guide, challenge, listen, support, and inspire you to be a first-class Educator. We are building a team of confident, caring and knowledgeable Educators, come and join our unique service - we have two centres within our 28-acre grounds consisting of an outdoor garden classroom, construction area, outdoor cooking area, vegetable gardens, climbing logs, water play, and playgrounds. We are seeking a qualified, enthusiastic, professional educator who wants to work 7.5hr per day, Monday to Friday and is available to work all shifts including opening at 6:30am and closing at 6:00pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment
- Work collaboratively within a team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families, providing a high quality, inclusive EYLF program incorporating Bush Kindy
- Participate in professional and personal development
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with our Employee Guidelines, Philosophy and Policies
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates
- Working with Children Card (Blue Card)
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework including National Quality Standards, Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010 and Educational and Care Services National Regulations 2011
- Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
- Possess highly developed problem-solving, decision-making and negotiation skills
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively, with parents, colleagues, and management to achieve goals
- Reliable transport (we are located in a semi-rural setting)
