The Centre
Every day is an opportunity for growth at Marsfield. With a range of exciting, resource-rich environments including, herb gardens, vegetable patches and a spacious open-plan interior is where our exciting programs come to life. Our 78 place centre is located on the grounds of TG Milner Field which provides endless opportunities for exploring the outdoor environment and space to enjoy for picnics and ball games. With on-site parking available our community-minded team of Educators are proud to have a culturally diverse team and celebrate a variety of cultures and holidays throughout the year. We also have at least one Mandarin-speaking Educator assigned to each age group.
The Opportunity
Working closely with your fellow Educators and Centre Leadership Team, you will enjoy;
- Developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community.
- Lead and guide teams in developing and implementing an innovative early learning program reflective of current early years thinking and practice.
- Documenting and sharing with families in their children’s learning and development.
- Actively contributing to the implementation and adoption of the Guardian Curriculum.
- Professional learning and development programs, career pathways, and a truly collaborative and inclusive learning environment.
To be considered, you will have:
- Tertiary Qualifications (University Degree or equivalent) in Early Childhood Education as approved by ACECQA
- Current Teacher’s Accreditation/ Registration (NSW, SA, VIC & WA)
- Proven knowledge of the National Quality Framework
- Previous experience working in the early childhood sector (desirable)
- Valid Working with Children’s Check or state-specific equivalent.
