AddressOur brand-new Imagine Childcare and Kindergarten Collingwood Park is seeking Diploma Lead Educators to join our passionate team on a casual basis with permanent work for the right candidates.
The successful candidates will be actively engaged in educating and caring for children under 5 years of age and effectively communicating with children, co-workers and families.
We are seeking a Lead with a strong passion for the Early Childhood Industry who want to have a voice and work where input is encouraged and commitment is rewarded!
The role
- Your passion and enthusiasm will see you assisting to lead a classroom by effectively engaging with educators, families, children and the wider community to implement the educational program and experiences to meet the individual needs of the children
- You will have a strong knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
- You will work at all times in compliance with Government Regulations and centre policies and procedures to meet high quality standards
- You will network with relevant stakeholders in the local community
- You will have confidence in building strong relationships and partnerships with children and families
- You will have the ability to contribute to the documentation of the children's skills and interests that include a clear cycle of reflective practice
Selection Criteria
- Diploma or higher qualification in children services as approved by ACECQA
- Current approved First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates
- Current Blue Card
- Experience in an early childhood setting (preferred)
- Knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
- Prior experience and confidence with leading a classroom setting and writing educational programs
- Strong leadership skills and an ability to confidently guide and mentor your peers
- Confidence in building strong relationships and partnerships with children and families
- Ability to Implement stimulating programs, and develop a curriculum based on the children's interests and the EYLF
- Ability to observe and record children’s learning and contribute to their educational portfolios
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
