Join the team
As a Lead Engineer within our Supply Chain tribe, you will be supporting a variety of supply chain applications. The role will involve being part of a well-established team. You will be responsible for leading solution implementations that will enable technology transformations that aligns with Kmart's technology strategy.
What you'll be doing:
Work in collaboration with Architects, Tech Lead and Engineering Manager.
Own Engineering deliverables, including technical design, coding, testing.
Support strong automation strategies and drive similar practices.
Provide input to business for software solutions, estimates and specifications.
Help with supply chain technology roadmap.
Mentor and support junior developers.
To be successful in the role you'll have:
7 plus years of experience in software development / DevOps roles.
Experience in Java with Spring Boot.
Hands-on experience of building and deploying applications on AWS.
Strong background in DevOps - GitHub actions, Terraforms, etc.
Ability to lead changes, provide complex technical management coordination with multiple vendors and colleagues.
Familiarity of working in an Agile environment
Background in Supply chain, retail or logistics is highly desirable.
