Additional information:
- This role is Permanent Full-time, 76hrs/fortnight.
- The internal job title for this role is IKEA for Business Remote Team Leader
- The preferred location for the role is RCMP Tempe Hub, however remote work from any AU IKEA RCMP Hub will be considered.
- Hybrid working is supported, 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
- This role requires availability to work Monday - Sunday 7:00am - 10:00pm AEDT
- As part of the recruitment process this role requires a pre-employment check for final candidates.
About this work area
As an IKEA for Business Remote Team Leader your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Drive the remote selling of our range to Business customers including generating leads, planning, and purchasing.
- Contribute to the unit action plan and ensure the team actively works towards maximising sales and achieving agreed goals.
- Secure that you and your team understand the multichannel retail environment and act quickly on commercial opportunities and customer feedback.
- Focus your understanding on our business customers' needs and suggest home furnishing solutions that will solve their challenges, including proposing add-on products, working with cross selling, and upselling.
- Provide an inspiring and motivating environment for your co-workers as well as securing trust and openness with both internal and external stakeholders to help support the remote selling function to achieve its goals and getting the most out of all relationships.
As an IKEA for Business Remote Team Leader you are or you have:
- A passion for home furnishings, you are energised by sales growth and have a desire to lead and motivate a team to achieve success.
- Experienced in helping others and coaching them to achieve their best, securing competent and high-performing teams.
- Experience in previous leadership positions, able to lead both people and the Business together.
- Excellent communication skills, collaboration and selling skills, the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders and clients.
- A desire and passion to develop the business, utilising approaches to change management to secure organisational growth and change.
- A good understanding of how omnichannel environments operate.
- A strategy mindset, tailoring ways to create meaningful home furnishing solutions to our business customers through your team of co-workers.
- You can work autonomously and manage a varied workload for both you and your team.
- With previous experience in setting and implementing action plans and setting and following up on goals, you can act as a change driver through new ways of working.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
