- Software package creation for deployment form InTune or SCCM. Knowledge in SCCM, Windows, PowerShell scripting, Microsoft InTune, Entra ID, Active Directory & Autopilot.
- Creation and updating of group policies adhering to Microsoft’s security baselines and best practice.
- Prepare, install and support Windows systems, troubleshoot complex incidents, and create and maintain documentation for the IT Service Desk/Desktop team.
- Responsible for the SCCM environment and future roadmap, inclusive of system upgrades where required.
- Manage the installation and maintenance of hardware and software.
- Create, plan and supervise the deployment of new operating system releases, vendor patches, and firmware/drive upgrades.
- Develop and document standardised user processes and procedures, inclusive of knowledge base and policy creation.
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders and adhere to enterprise Change Management
- Manage SOE and recommend enhancements and optimisation.
- Educate and develop skills of Service Desk/Desktop teams of EUC changes/enhancements. Upskill and develop capabilities within the team.
- Knowledge of ITSM and experience with an ITSM tool to manage incident, request and change records.
- Build a migration strategy to move to Windows 11, inclusive of MOE creation and deployment.
- Participate in BCP & DRP support as required.
- Third party / Vendors – Engagement & Assistance.
- Assist with IT audits and participate in change request processes as applicable.
- Work closely with the Infrastructure and Service Desk teams on initiatives.
- Travel interstate to assist with support if required.
- Proven ability in showing initiative, high level of customer service and displays a 'can do' attitude
- Excellent telephone manner coupled with sound problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work efficiently with a sense of urgency in an organised manner and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
- High level communication skills and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Capacity, willingness and enthusiasm to learn new skills and continually improve current skills
- 5 years’ experience in End User Computing, Infrastructure or related roles.
- Experience in Office 365, Windows 10 platforms, Terminal Services, SCCM, Active Directory, Network & Datacentre, Email Security Management.
- Any IT relevant short course qualifications
- Education, training and certification in Microsoft Server and Domain Technologies
- (MCP – Microsoft Certified Professional) or MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist) or equivalent, and/or relevant short course qualifications.
- ITIL Foundation V3 Certified
