Join our team as the Lead Full Stack Developer, focused on enhancing the University of Melbourne's Smart Campus platform. Responsibilities include developing use cases, Full Stack development on AWS and the implementation of data processing pipelines. Work in an agile environment to drive innovation in IoT data analytics.Your responsibilities will include:
- Gather user interactions from stakeholders to define technical and UI requirements
- Utilise AWS technologies and modern programming languages for full-stack development.
- Develop flexible front-end architectures and serverless back-end functions
- Develop back-end serverless functions to support data processing pipelines and API endpoints.
- Ensure alignment and participate in the development of standards and architectural patterns, collaborating with product and enterprise teams
We're looking for people who are up for a programming challenge offering so much more than just another uninspiring web app. We're seeking developers with a distinctly innovative mindset, who wishes to actively contribute to delivering a more efficient, sustainable and enjoyable university experience.You will also have:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in UI / Web development, Node JS, React JS & Redux (or equivalent client-side state management)
- Strong experience in Typescript, JavaScript, HTML 5/CSS 3.0 technologies
- Strong experience with RESTful (and/or) GraphQL APIs andVSCode
