Lead Infrastructure architect
Security Clearance: NV1/NV2
Start Date: ASAP start to 30/06/24 + 12 month extension
Rate: $160 inclu super/hour
Location: Canberra, ACT
This position is within the Systems Integration and Operations (SIO) area of the Warfighting Networks and Applications Support Organisation (WSO)
Duties:

• Develop and implement technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with standards and security requirements.
• Support accreditation processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors.
• Oversee design and build activities.
• Provide technical leadership.
• Identify and mitigate risks.
• Align designs with business goals and ITIL v4 governance.

Required skills:

• Expertise in supporting and configuring various services, including infrastructure, systems engineering, networking, and middleware applications.
• Ability to apply requirements, standards, and frameworks to future infrastructure designs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft and Linux infrastructure technologies.
• Knowledge and experience in hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI), specifically VMware and Nutanix.
• Capacity to build and configure services in line with technical architecture and system requirements.
• Technical implementation, configuration, and operational support skills for interoperable systems.
• Detailed knowledge and skills in Infrastructure services, including SDN and SDDC.
• Experience with cryptography, PKI services, and Identity, Credential, and Access Management.
• Strong technical architecture background, capable of designing and building ICT infrastructure systems.
• Familiarity with secure identity service integration, including Privileged Access Management.
• Ability to rapidly build, automate, and deliver proof of concept systems within a DevSecOps process.
• Agility in adapting to changing requirements in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and deliverables.
