Do you have proven negotiation skills and an ability to influence others? We have a continuing opportunity for a Lead, International Projects & Partnerships.
Working under limited direction and reporting to the Director, International Recruitment, the Lead, International Projects & Partnerships plays an integral role supporting new and existing partnerships in developing recruitment and engagement strategies across international articulation partners, high schools and sponsors.
This role heavily focusses on nurturing and growing key external relationships, strengthening new and existing networks and identifying new opportunities in the international market to support the university’s strategic plan and international recruitment priorities.
There may be some requirement to travel interstate and overseas, and attend recruitment activities or events as required.
To be successful you will need:
- Current knowledge of higher education issues and demonstrated experience in international student recruitment.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills, with the ability to provide authoritative advice, express complex matters in an accurate and concise form and manage complex relationships with key stakeholders.
- Proven ability to establish complex strategic partnerships with university, government and stakeholder groups, especially in cross cultural settings.
- Proven negotiation skills and a demonstrated ability to influence others at more senior levels.
- Project management experience in a complex, dynamic, high -volume operating environment with close attention to detail and evidence of outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful operational plans, including management of budgets.
- Proven planning and organisational skills and an ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment developing a culture of outstanding customer service and continuous improvement.
The ability to speak a second language is highly desirable.
