Lead Ip Network Engineer

Our client is one of the global leaders in their field. As a result of the continued growth and significant ramp-up of a major civil program, they partnered with Appoint in looking for experienced and certified Network Engineers.
   
In this Brisbane-based role, you will be responsible for the implementation of a complex network on civil sites. You will report to the Engineering Manager.
   
To be successful in the role you:

• Have proven experience in the design and implementation of high-end internetworking projects and programs
• Have current certification in Cisco (inter)networking professional and/or engineer (CCNA/CCNP/CCIE)
• Have engineering certifications (REPQ desired)
• Possess significant exposure and experience in the rail and train industry
• Proven experience in MPLS
• Are able to provide examples of recent achievements in delivering and contributing internetworking solutions
• Will have a strong understanding of life-critical infrastructure sites and solutions
• Are a team player, coach, and mentor to others within the program
• Have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working in the Rail sector.
