FRG Technology Consulting is hiring in collaboration with our client who are a fast growing AgTech company! Our client is on the lookout for a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is based in Emerald, Queensland.
This company is a venture backed company with global ambition. There AgTech robots are already being used by many customers and they are going through a phase of explosive growth.
Preferred Experience / Background:
- A background in Mechanical Design and engineering, if your experience is in agricultural equipment or mobile machinery that's great. Though any industry (mining etc) would also be a good fit
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
What you will get up to:
- Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for agricultural robots
- Provide team leadership through mentoring junior members
- Collaborate with other engineering teams (e.g. software, electrical, systems engineering etc)
- CAD Modeling and Documentation (e.g. utilising CAD software to create detailed 3D models, FEA analysis, documenting mechanical components etc)
- Manage project budgets and allocate resources where required
