The role
The Lead Rotating Equipment Engineer is responsible for ensuring the availability and optimum operation of Rotating Equipment assets and for leading a team of engineers and technicians. Your duties will include managing Rotating Equipment overhauls, ensuring the ongoing operation of turbines, signing off on inspection and test plans, providing advice as the Subject Matter Expert, ensuring compliance, leading condition monitoring programs and trouble-shooting.
Selection criteria
A degree in mechanical engineering is essential. You will also require substantial experience working with turbines and Rotating Equipment in a similar environment (fertiliser, petrochemical, gas processing or oil) and be experienced in managing maintenance projects and shut-downs. This role will suit an engineer who is keen to make a difference and enjoys innovation. Your excellent interpersonal, communication, project management and leadership skills will see you thrive.
