Join our team and be a part of our exciting journey to produce a diverse range of steel products.Job DescriptionAs the Lead Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and overseeing quality assurance standards, policies, and procedures within our business. You will be tasked with ensuring strict adherence to quality systems and procedures, ongoing accreditation of ASME and ISO9001 systems, and strict adherence to OHS systems and procedures. In addition, you will be responsible for providing skilled direction to support QC and production teams quality deliverables, monitoring and providing ongoing tracking of individual projects against quality requirements, and developing project-specific Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Quality Plans, and Manufacturers Data Records (MDRs) and other prescribed project deliverables.Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and raise concerns of quality issues within the workplace.
  • Ensure adherence to quality procedures and relevant standards.
  • Support planning and execution of designated QA/QC work-tasks.
  • Support mentoring and improvement of quality-related initiatives.
  • Provide skilled direction to support QC and Production Teams quality deliverables.
  • Monitor and provide ongoing tracking of individual projects against quality requirements.
  • Develop project-specific Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Quality Plans, and Manufacturers Data Records (MDRs) and other prescribed project deliverables.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering role.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience with ASME and ISO9001 accreditation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
