About the Role
This is a role for the natural navigator, the problem solver, the constantly curious and the lifelong learner. You'll partner with our clients to help them build bespoke products and solutions, get the most of their technology landscape, and leave them in a better place. This role is more than just systems and coding, it's about asking the right questions, having good practices and collaborating on the bigger picture. You'll help influence our clients on selecting the right technologies, shape requirements, design and architect solutions, set up good engineering and quality practices, lead small teams and get hands-on with development.
As a DiUS Lead Software Consultant, you will have the opportunity to make a difference and make an impact across multiple products and clients. We work on problems our clients aren’t able to solve themselves - it could be anything from playing and experimenting with innovative tech to helping a client transform legacy systems.
About You
- A full-stack Software Engineer who really knows their stuff and you have experience in a variety of tech languages such as: Typescript/JavaScript and either React, Angular, Vue,.net. Backend experience in one of the following also required: Nodejs, Python, Kotlin, Java, C#, Go
- Experience in data engineering and ML highly regarded
- Multicloud platform experience
- Previous experience in professional services, and are able to quickly adapt to the different pace and need for each client
- Previous experience leading and shaping product delivery including client presentations and workshop facilitation
- Participate in pre-sales activity/tasks helping to drive the shape of the work at DiUS
- A high level of proficiency in modern architecture practices
- Demonstrating autonomy and expertise in code practices such as TDD and CI/CD
- Design and Lead architectural discussions for client solutions & for multiple application classes
- You live and breathe Agile (understand the purpose, value and common practices)
- You are able to represent the DiUS brand internally & externally navigating opportunities and positioning your DiUS team mates as experts to the client
- Excellent presentation & communication skills
- Able to lead others and coordinate / prioritise tasks & workload
- Manage and resolve conflict with relevant stakeholders with excellent team management
- Be a primary point of influence with stakeholders, project teams and clients
- Provide internal support to sales, marketing and other internal initiatives/teams
- You love to spread change through thought leadership, mentoring, meetups, writing blogs or keeping active on GitHub.
