Lead Solution Architect (Director) | Enterprise

Our Enterprise Technology Advisory team brings together skills in intelligent automation, data engineering and software integration to help our clients align their technology capabilities with their strategic and operational objectives. We also draw on KPMG’s extensive national and global resources, adopting a multidisciplinary approach to help unlock the full potential of existing and new technology investments.

Your Opportunity

The Lead Solution Architect will drive and own the Cloud Solution Architecture capability spanning across Cloud, Data, and Integration domains. You will play a critical role by:

• Owning the architecture governance process and development methodology in accordance with Enterprise-TI business direction.
• Owning the design standards for Cloud, Data, and Integration domain with a focus on data governance, integration patterns and data lifecycle management.
• Spearheading large scale portfolio, program, and project prioritisation for client engagements according to Enterprise-TI direction.
• Supporting executive decision-making for key client facing technology portfolios, programs, and business transformation activities.
• Aligning Enterprise-TI strategy with market/client demands with a focus on industry standards and trends.
• Acting as a line manager to mentor and develop the individual domain architect and broader team members.
• Developing a current and future state architecture(s) to support clients on large transformation projects.
• Demonstrating the ability to increase benefits from innovation.
• Defining, promoting, and influencing the adoption of technology standards and processes.

• Seasoned professional with strong Solution Architect experience in Microsoft technologies while delivering complex multifaceted technology programs of work.
• Extensive experience in Azure Architecture roles, with significant expertise in system design, implementation, and portfolio / program delivery.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in driving Enterprise Architecture functions and its strategic development.
• Proven team leadership and management capabilities, with experience managing multiple direct reports within a matrix-management structure.
• Solid practice practical experience in Azure Cloud Platforms with experience in cloud platform and solution design, delivery, and security.
• In-depth knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code, GitOps, and fundamental cloud networking concepts.
