AddressHello, I am a young 64 year old friendly and kind woman who lives in Sunnybank Hills. My interests include animals, travelling and music. I am looking for a Lead Support Worker to assist in managing my team, coordinate my rosters and to train new Support Workers. The role also includes supporting me with my daily living, community access, social participation, appointments, shopping and leisure pursuits..
The successful applicant will:

Key Duties:
- Supporting me to manage my team of Support Workers
- Coordinate my roster
- Training of new Support Workers
- Driving me to appointments in my van
- Assist with Daily Living including personal care
- Domestic assistance including cooking, cleaning and household duties
- Assistance with managing animals, feeding, cleaning cages (dog and birds/parrots)
- Social and community engagement
Shifts:
- Tuesdays 11am-3pm
- Flexibility to pick up extra shifts when team members are on leave
Requirements:
- Physically able to meet the requirements of the role
- Articulate with good sense of humour
- Focused, positive person
- Ability to take direction from a person with a physical disability
- Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
- Flexibility to cover and change shifts
- Live locally (preferred)
- Must like animals and be happy to perform above listed duties
- You will also need to be punctual, reliable and well presented
- Current Open Queensland Drivers License
- Current First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain)
- Current Yellow Card/ Yellow card Exemption (or willing to obtain a Disability Workers Screening Clearance)
