Lead Support Worker - Willagee
An experienced leader or perhaps looking to up skill and make waves in your career?
As a Lead Support Worker, you will provide support to Interchange customers, stakeholders and practitioners to implement plans, ensuring supports provided are inline with quality and safeguarding standards. Additionally, you will help lead customer support teams, ensuring Support Workers in your neighborhood are supported in their roles.
What we need from you:

- Experience working with individuals with high intensity requirements, mental health needs or behaviours of concern
- Be good at puzzles! Problem solving skills are a must to ensure that high quality, customer focus, safe and well organised services are delivered
- Be a quick thinker - we need you to be quick on your feet and think fast!
- Ability to work as a team, succeed as a team, celebrate as a team - team work makes the dream work.
To join the Interchange Team, you need to have:
- Qualification in Mental Health or Disability (e.g., Certificate IV)
- Applied knowledge of restrictive practices desirable
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with people with disability, colleagues, and members of the community.
- Ability to take initiative and problem solve to ensure that high quality, customer focus, safe and well organised services are delivered.
- A demonstrated understanding of and experience in the development and delivery of contemporary, evidence-based disability services.
- Conduct timely and accurate record keeping and objective report writing.
- Ability to work in accordance with Interchange’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
