ABOUT THE BRANCH & SECTION
The Human Resources Branch supports Finance’s workforce with strategic and operational human resource matters such as pay and entitlements, recruitment activities and HR policy.
The Learning and Development team is responsible for providing learning programs and strategic advice to the Department in line with the Finance People Capability Framework.
We lead the Department’s training, policies and processes to support and enable a capable and high performing workforce. We do this through the coordination of learning and development programs, management and delivery of our online learning management system LearnHub, Leadership and talent management initiatives and delivery of our performance management framework.

The Learning and Development team are looking for our new APS 6 Leadership and Performance Advisor.
In this role, you will work closely with the EL 1 Assistant Director - Learning and Development team to support and deliver a range of leadership, talent and Performance initiatives in support of our Workforce Strategy, People Capability Framework and Performance and Capability in Finance Policy. You will engage with the business on the delivery of these programs, plus work on some exciting projects in support of our performance management review and leadership pathways at Finance. The role includes the development of communications, event management, program support, research and evaluation of key deliverables.
