Role Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Leading Hand to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing minor projects, coordinating installations, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. As a Leading Hand, you will lead by example, driving efficiency, and contributing to the overall success of our projects.
Key Accountabilities:
- Take charge of minor projects within designated budgets and timelines.
- Identify and implement efficiencies across all projects.
- Assist in coordinating and overseeing major projects under the guidance of the Project Manager.
- Ensure quality workmanship and attention to detail during product manufacturing and installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the manufacturing and assembly of Greenwall Company product range, meeting quality assurance expectations.
- Lead the installation of minor green roof and green wall projects in accordance with specifications and company guidelines.
- Assist in the installation of major green roof and green wall projects, ensuring adherence to specifications and guidelines.
- Lead an effective, collaborative team to ensure efficient execution of works.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the construction, landscape or green infrastructure industry. Trade qualified
- Prior experience with construction management software.
- Working at heights (Not prerequisite but desirable).
- Previous experience with irrigation (Not prerequisite but desirable).
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and mentor team members.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Knowledge of relevant tools, equipment, and materials used in green infrastructure projects.
- Understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Access to a mobile phone.
- Class C Driver’s license with the ability to drive manual vehicles.
- White card certification.
