We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Leading Hand to join our team, working in collaboration with the Site Supervisor to achieve optimum productivity and project outcomes. You will use your strong communication and technical skills to execute all deliverables to a high standard. You will work collaboratively with the project team, including sub-contractors to ensure safety and compliance standards are upheld.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of internal employees and sub-contractors to successfully perform their day-to-day duties;
- Engage with all compliance requirements to ensure the safety, quality and environmental hygiene of your project is executed;
- Continuously motivate your team to maintain high employee satisfaction and consequently a high production rate; and
- Lead by example and uphold all of the work, health and safety standards at all times.
Desired qualities we need from you:
- Extensive civil construction background with demonstrated experience;
- Competent in all aspects of the civil construction process, including reading and interpreting plans and specifications;
- Communicate openly to a high level and effectively with team members, contractors, clients and the team to achieve results;
- Work autonomously and work well under pressure; and
- Manage and complete projects on time to a high standard.

- Northwest Sydney Area, covering such areas such as Marsden Park and Schofields.
