This is an exciting opportunity for you to use your comprehensive workers compensation and operations skills and knowledge in a proactive performance-based culture.You will provide purposeful leadership and direction to create a high performing team environment, providing oversight and management of operational/strategic activities in line with divisional objectives.In this role, you will demonstrate the ability to manage positive relationships to co-ordinate activities; meet and maintain required standards and demonstrate continuous improvement in the execution of all business processes and initiatives.
What you'll do- Manage a team dedicated to providing support to our wider Claims Team
- Manage, allocate and control operational and administration tasks
- Collaborate with all key stakeholders to achieve SLA targets and objectives
- Provide effective training to your team to allow our customers navigate the workers compensation process and efficiently and effectively process administration tasks to allow for and exceptional customer experience
- Collaborate with Operations Manager, Technical Specialist, Injury Management Specialist and Team Leaders to identify appropriate strategies for the management of a specific cohort of claims
- Work proactively with external and internal providers to deliver best in class service standards
- Ensure your team accurately assess each claim and process in line with legislative and regulatory requirements.
What you'll bring- Demonstrated Workers Compensation and Operations experience
- Proven leadership experience
- Mentoring and Coaching skills
- Strong ability to work cross functionally, build internal relationships and communication skills
- Ability to make effective decisions in a timely manner and in line with delegated authority
- Ability to convey and explain information coherently and confidently both written and oral.
