Position: Leading Hand Carpenter

Reporting Relationships: Site Foreman and Construction Manager

Expected hrs of work: Mon-Thurs 7am – 4pm, Friday 7am -2.30pm, however the nature of this role may require time outside of standard hrs.

Expected Rate: Negotiable, dependent upon demonstration of ability and previous experience.

Role: To be able to undertake any task given by the site foreman or Construction Manager in a positive, efficient, and productive manner with pride in workmanship and quality.

Responsibilities

• To be the main driving force of our Carpentry team
• Carry out work as instructed by site foreman.
• Always produce high quality work in appropriate timeframe.
• Direct onsite supervision of staff and subcontractors.
• Make sure that site is always a Safe Site.
• Completing daily logs and site reports in Procore if required (on iPad)
• Comply with company quality systems.
• Have fun and be proud of what you achieve in your working day.

Key Performance Indicators

· QA Checklist to be completed at each stage by yourself, any failed.

· items to be closed out in 2 days.

· Site Supervisor to do final QA inspection and approve at least 90% of

· the time.

· Number of defects due to quality of workmanship

· Daily stand up to be done each day in Procore meeting minutes

The client will be given a questionnaire to complete regarding the overall impression of the team from Fortem Projects, this will include quality, motivation, site cleanliness and timeframes.
