AddressSmall Melbourne builder seeking carpenter to join close knit building team focused on delivering great custom projects for select designers from the inner north to south east Melbourne, and having fun while doing it. Carpentry role initially offered for the candidate, but training candidate pathway into a leading hand will be the intention, with pathway to career progression/running projects and builders mentorship on offer for the right candidate.
About you:
You will be a qualified carpenter who is passionate about learning and aiming to be the best you can be, and always strive to build to a high standard of finish. You will take pride in what you do and have a strong work ethic. You will have experience as a qualified carpenter in domestic building/design focused renovations/extensions. You will have had some experience reading and interpreting plans. You wont be afraid to say what you do and don't know, and will be creative in problem solving and open to learning new ways of doing things. You will be outcome focused and well presented, and work with a close knit team that all share a passion for building. You will add to creating a professional yet fun environment onsite. You will have fun doing what you love.
About the role:
You will work under either leading hand carpenters or the construction manager, and be given as much guidance as needed to grow and expand your skill set until the point of a more comprehensive understanding of how to build, and eventually if the candidate shows capability, the opportunity of a leading hand carpenter role will be available to discuss.
