Auriga Marine is a growing coastal shipping company operating in Northern Territory waters. This role will require a person with initiative and a sense of responsibility who can work within a well-designed Safety System.
We are now looking for an enthusiastic Transport Worker (Forklift Operator/ Freight Handler) with marine skills to work in the Auriga Marine Division in Darwin. This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual who wishes to join a new marine organisation.
Qualifications & Experience
- High Risk Forklift ( LF ) Licence
- Open Drivers Licence ( C ) Class
- Experience in freight handling and receipting
- Computer proficiency
- Dangerous Goods Awareness for Sea Transport – Highly regarded
- Heavy forklift experience – Desirable
Tasks & responsibilities
- Overseeing a small team and warehouse activities
- Receipt of various cargoes for sea transport
- Recording proof of delivery paperwork
- Recording Toolbox and pre start meetings
- General administrative and maintenance tasks
