An immediate start is available for a Leading HandSite Electrician, reporting to the Site Supervisor, this is a hands-on position which includes the coordination, leadership and management of Site Electricians, apprentices and other trades, with the aim of completing site projects safely, on time, within budget, and within specification.
Our office is based in Tomago NSW however project sites are varied, if successful you will be you will be living within the area of Greater Newcastle NSW and required to work away from home. Attractive living away from home remuneration will be offered. You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident to be considered.
You will be responsible for:
- Coordinating all resources, materials and plant to achieve project outcomes
- Maintaining a planned work schedule
- Managing subcontractors for high voltage terminations
- Ensuring compliance with WHS regulations and quality standards
- Maintaining a high level of communication with our Site Supervisor, Project Managers and customers
Essential criteria:
- An electrical trade qualification, including qualified supervisor certificate
- Experience in site project works within mining and/or heavy industry
- Self-motivation and a team player
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Successfully pass medical including D&A testing for site induction
- **Must be able to work away from home**
