The Role:
An exciting long-term opportunity for a driven qualified Leading Hand/First Time Foreman.
Roles and Responsibilities include (but not limited to):- Ensuring that all workers are inducted into site conditions and rules including those relating to safety and environmental control
- Co-ordinating the work of employees and subcontractors
- Monitor progress, quality, and compliance to safety and environmental standards and take prompt corrective action as necessary
- Forward plan daily/weekly/monthly construction work including resource requirements and trade co-ordination
- Manage site security and material/plant deliveries and storage and general housekeeping
- Maintain day-by day site diary records including photographs
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of the contract, the specifications, the applicable Collection Agreement and safety and environmental regulations
Essential requirements of a successful candidate: - Australian Citizen
- AFP Clearance or ability to obtain
- Completion of year 12 studies
- Carpentry trade qualification
- Hard Working, enthusiastic and a team player
