Whole School Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage the implementation of whole-school improvement initiatives related to the College Strategic Plan and school priorities
Lead and manage staff performance and development (review of staff)
Develop clear goals for the Middle School which support the Strategic Plan and current AIP
Supporting the positive culture within the College.
Analyse and respond to data relating to student engagement, wellbeing, attendance, and academic progress.
Lead and manage the implementation of the College¿s operations and policies related to engagement and wellbeing.
Contribute to the College Leadership team and the overall leadership of the College
Lead the implementation of the Respectful Relationships initiative and School Wide Positive Behaviour Supports.

Specific Responsibilities:
1. Student Leadership
· Liaise with the Senior School SOE to develop opportunities for student leadership and connectedness across the school.
· Manage the Middle School Student Leadership program, including selections of Middle School Leaders.
· Build student leadership capacity across the sub-school including leadership training and oversight of Peer Support.
· Promote and lead School for Student Leadership process.
2. Transition and Enrolment
· Develop programs to support the transition from primary to secondary school.
· Liaise with primary school staff to develop profiles of students entering the College.
· Coordinate the transition process.
· Coordinate the Year 7 House/class placement process.
· Manage the transition of students between year levels.
· Lead the organisation of Orientation Day and Information evenings for incoming students and families.
· Work with the Pathways Coordinator and Senior School to manage pathways support for students through the Middle School.
3. Student Learning and Engagement
· Assist with the planning, development and implementation of year level based programs eg and not limited to camps (year 7-9), LEAD (city experience), Launch (SEL).
· Examining data to inform planning for programs (eg. ATOSS)
· Work with the Wellbeing and Inclusion team to identify and implement cohort proactive programs to support student wellbeing.
· Lead and manage celebrations of student achievement, including organising House assemblies and events.
· Provide opportunities for parent/carers involvement in the College life, including leading forums with staff, students and parents/carers.
General Responsibilities
· Working collaboratively with the Middle School Administrative Assistant and the International Student Co-ordinator.
· Other duties as determined by the Principal.
