- Manage Lean programs by promoting a culture of continuous improvement, process efficiency & effectiveness.
- Play an integral role within the Operations Team placing particular emphasis on Emerson's core values of: Integrity / Collaboration / Safety & Quality / Continuous Improvement / Innovation / Customer Focus & Supporting Our People.
- Collaborate with the team to identify targets for improvement that are aligned with the business goals.
- Develop action plans to implement improvements in target areas.
- Facilitate teams to work on targeted projects and coordinate resources necessary to accomplish project goals.
- Review site operational processes to identify excessive time, effort, and process variation to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Responsible for developing and distributing communications and Perfect Execution Program status updates at all levels within the plant.
- Motivate, encourage, and coach employees in the expanded and consistent use of Lean principles.
- Establish a foundation for standard work, problem solving, and continuous improvement.
- Develop a Perfect Execution training program and administer training of all employees, as applicable.
- Oversee development and implementation of 5S strategies in the warehouse & production
- Support quality & HSE activities as appropriate.
- Ensure the site remains functional and breakdowns are addressed to run an effective facility.
- Safety controls via elimination of hazards
- Production efficiency improvements
- Cost reduction reporting
- Develop competence in Emerson 12 Lifesaving Behaviors
- Act as a leader and champion for the 'I Own Safety' program
- Participate with colleagues across Automation Solutions in our 'Greening of' 'Greening by' and 'Greening with' Emerson program to help make the world Healthier, Safer & more Sustainable.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar preferred
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred
- Demonstrated experience in leading Lean Manufacturing initiatives and applying tools
- Solid understanding of distribution environments, including purchasing, inventory, and warehouse operations.
- Ability to multitask and work independently with precise detail and follow-up reporting
- Demonstrated analytical, organizational and communication skills.
- Proactive attitude, self-driven and results oriented
- Value Stream Mapping, Identifying Waste in process,
- Working knowledge of Lean, Office Lean, KanBan, TPM, Kaizen, Poka Yoke
- Team player, ability lead workshops and team events
- IIOT, RPA
