The Position:

The Learning Experience Consultant will bring a strong understanding of learning design, to deliver innovative learning solutions to improve and re-shape existing and new learning programs. This person is tech savvy, has good foundational knowledge of adult learning and can work a template and learning process to deliver quality learning solutions.

Working with key stakeholders, this person will use human centred design and collaboration to design and scope learning programs. Project managing the process, they will also manage their time, the learning process and stakeholders to meet time frames and deliver a new benchmark for quality learning at St Vincent de Paul.

• Apply Human Centred Design principles to the development of blended learning solutions.
• Facilitate training and scoping workshops to understanding learning requirements.
• Deliver Train the Trainer Programs.
• Confidence in running workshops to determine business needs.
• Design and develop project briefs/scoping documents, workshop materials, D&I Training.
• Demonstrate understanding and empathy with the mission and ethos of the St Vincent de Paul Society and ensure the Society’s values are incorporated into all aspects of the performance of the role.
• Engage, inspire and influence organisational culture.
• Actively participate in activities that develop your personal and professional skills, knowledge and experience.

About you:

• Advanced skills in Microsoft products including (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Customer focused and you listen to the voice of the customer.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Deep understanding of adult learning principles.
• Attention to detail.
• Experience in facilitating workshops to small groups.
• At least 3 years’ experience in L&D or Instructional Design, along with designing and delivering training.
• Use of eLearning authoring tools, including the Articulate suite.
• Human Centred Design experience.
• Sound project management experience with an achievement orientation.
