The Opportunity
As our client's Learning Experience Designer, you will update, modernise and streamline the Academy's systems including the intranet, media library, learning management system, Lumi and website.
You will design learning and development solutions, determine learning requirements and create, design and review multimedia assets and content from existing and new online sources to identify the number and type of media required to address learning needs. This may include the design and creation of new online toolkits, video learning programs, eLearning design and development and workshop and scenario learning opportunities.
All candidates applying for this position must be an Australian Citizen and have a current Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Upload, test and configure resources in systems
- Review existing media from the intranet page and media library to identify resources to be transitioned into the new system as a standalone learning asset, or linked to a particular course or learning pathway
- Provide assistance to the Communications Officer in managing:
- the Academy's internal and external websites and the design and branding aspects of the learning management system, Lumi
- design, publish and continually update content for Academy websites and systems
- internal and external communications for the Academy
- design, record and edit multimedia content for learning products, including graphic design, video and photographic material
- content development for the Academy's social media account including drafting and publishing tweets and posts and provision of input to departmental social media accounts
- Experience in managing a learning management system or providing system administration duties
- Experience in instructional design in line with adult learning principles, including designing new learning opportunities, content production, publishing, or digital media management
- Well-developed written communication skills and experience in communications roles, including in content creation, internet publishing, multimedia and social media
