One of Australia's prominent Federal Government departments is looking to engage an experienced Learning Experience Designer / Instructional Designer to lead the development of innovative Learning Experiences by develop instructional designs for new programs, review existing programs & produce learning resources. The Successful Learning Experience Designer / Instructional Designerwill be offered a 12 month contract with a further 2 year extension.
The successful Learning Experience Designer / Instructional Designerbe responsible for, but not limited to:
- Instructional design of learning and development solutions in line with adult learning principles and being conscious of human centred, agile, design processes.
- Design and creation of new online toolkits, video learning programs, eLearning design and development and workshop and scenario learning opportunities.
- Review existing media from department intranet and media library.
- Engage with relevant stakeholders to determine learning requirements.
The successful Learning Experience Designer / Instructional Designerwill have experience in the following:
- Demonstrated experience in instructional design in line with adult learning principles, including designing new learning opportunities, content production, publishing, or digital media management.
- Prior experience providing system administration duties and managing learning management systems.
- Experience in engaging with internal stakeholders and working effectively as part of a team is essential.
- Well-developed written communication skills and experience in communications roles, including in content creation, internet publishing, multimedia and social media.
