About the role - The Learning Support Aide – Inclusive Education (Level 3 School Officer) is a member of the College Student Support Team. He/she works, under the direct supervision of a teacher, to support students with learning difficulties and disabilities, to access the curriculum through equitable adjustments specific to their learning needs. The Learning Support Aide – Inclusive Education reports directly to the Support Teacher/s: Inclusive Education (ST:IE/s) for day-to-day workflow requirements.
About you - The role holder will have well developed interpersonal skills and may at times deal with issues of a confidential and sensitive nature requiring a high degree of judgement, discretion and confidentiality. As a member of the St Mary’s College staff, the employee in this position is required to support the Mission Statement to ensure the Catholic Ethos and Mercy Traditions of the College are maintained and enhanced through their work.
To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:
- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
