  • Remuneration: Level 5 from $82,818 + 17% superannuation
  • Location: Kensington, NSW (Hybrid Flexible Working on campus and from home)

The Learning Support Coordinator provides effective day-to-day administrative support for the delivery of Learning Support programs within the UNSW Business School. The role reports to the Operations and Learning Support Manager in Career Accelerator and has no direct reports.


Responsibilities:

Specific responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):

  • Provide high level administrative support for the delivery of Learning Support programs, including Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) and Learning Consultations.
  • Work collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders across the faculty on the planning and ongoing delivery of the Business School PASS program, including School Managers, PASS Academic Coordinators, Lecturers in Charge, and Associate Deans Undergraduate and Postgraduate.
  • Participate in relevant projects and business improvement activities to streamline processes and facilitate administrative efficiency across Learning Support programs.
  • Coordinate the recruitment and training of new PASS Leaders and Learning Facilitators.
  • Approve casual staff pay claims and maintain accurate records for reporting purposes.
  • Oversee the scheduling of PASS sessions, in collaboration with Schools.
  • Act as the first point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding these programs, maintaining responsive channels of communication, analysing requests and correspondence to effectively prioritise, and respond to urgent and often sensitive matters.

Skills and experience required (but not limited to):

  • Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
  • Advanced time management, organisational and problem-solving skills, including the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience providing effective customer service and support to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly proficient computer literacy with excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to make sound judgements and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting and contributing to projects and initiatives.
  • An understanding of and commitment to UNSW’s aims, objectives and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines.
