Job description

The Schoolof Electrical and Mechanical Engineering is seeking a Casual Lecturer to join its staff in Semester 1, 2024.
Salary: Casual rate of $51.33 to $$71.28 (dependent on qualification and activity) per hour plus an employer contribution of 11% superannuation will apply.
This opportunity is suitable for those with experience in the Electrical and Electronic Engineering domain.
Each position includes the delivery of all lectures and workshops for the courses. The teaching semester is February 2024 to June 2024 and will be based at our North Terrace Campus.
Reporting to the Associate Head of Learning and Teaching (Operations), this role will deliver the following course in Semester 1, 2024.
To be successful you will need:

  • PhD or Masters Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or related field or equivalent industry experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the subject matter
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver student-centred learning and teaching activities at an undergraduate and postgraduate level, including the capacity to incorporate new technologies and new approaches to teaching and learning
  • Demonstrated commitment to the principles of equity, diversion and inclusion
