Detailed DescriptionAbout the roleThe is recruiting for a Lecturer in Analytical Chemistry. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to undertake teaching duties with a focus on Analytical Chemistry based teaching programs and the capacity to develop advanced programs of study. In this role you will contribute to the continued growth of chemical science research, proactively engage with industry professionals, and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students.About YouYou have demonstrated tertiary teaching in Analytical Chemistry teaching programs. As a Lecturer you will be an engaging communicator with a strong interest in supporting a positive student experience. To be successful, you will also ideally have the following attributes:
- A PhD in an area of Analytical Chemistry including environmental chemistry
- Experience as a teacher in the higher education sector.
- Strong research publication track record
- Ability to secure competitive research grants
Remuneration/SalaryBase Salary Range: $119,475 to $141,405 pa (Level B)This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.The position is full-time and will be made on a continuing basis.UTS staff also benefit from a wide range of include flexible work practices, child care centres, generous parental leave and salary packaging opportunities.
