We coordinate the Research Development of thought leaders and innovators, people with the discipline knowledge and professional skills necessary to push the frontiers of knowledge and make the world a better place in every respect.
As a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer, HDR Development, you will:
Lead a range of strategic university projects, comprehensive graduate researcher development programs and initiatives and work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders to develop effective curricula and learning materials. Integrate industry and contemporary research practice into training design to improve graduate researcher learning experiences, success, engagement and resources.
Lead the development and/or adoption of innovation in curriculum design and deliver learner-centric, research-informed teaching practices across different levels / modes of delivery.
Design collaborative learning opportunities to advance the innovation skills and research capabilities of graduate researchers. Support diverse learners by designing accessible and inclusive material and practices.
Provide academic support to graduate researchers and work collaboratively to improve HDR support services to optimise graduate researcher outcomes and capabilities.
Prepare and deliver workshops, seminars and online material that will address identified graduate researcher skills and information needs.
To be successful for the Lecturer, HDR Development - Level B position you'll have:
PhD in a relevant discipline and/or advanced qualifications and experience in the relevant discipline area
Knowledge and skills and expertise in researcher development with particular focus on doctoral education or graduate researchers, researcher communication, innovative curriculum design and teaching practice to support quality learner experiences outcomes.
Evidence of the ability to lead and/or support the development and execution of a diverse range of projects and initiatives designed to engage stakeholders broadly and collaboratively to enhance impact and engagement practices for researchers.
Evidence of excellence in contribution to innovative researcher curricula, in online, campus-based and blended learning environments.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the proven ability to achieve influence and impact and to build support for ideas and actions through development of strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to adopt a scholarly and evidence-based approach to all areas of practice, including evidence of publications in scholarly journals and other venues.
To be successful for the Senior Lecturer, HDR Development - Level C position you'll have:
PhD in a relevant discipline and/or advanced qualifications and experience in the relevant discipline area
Highly developed knowledge and skills and expertise in researcher development with particular focus on doctoral education or graduate researchers, researcher communication, innovative curriculum design and teaching practice to support quality learner experiences outcomes.
