Build the teaching and research profile of Paramedicine within the Faculty of Health at CDU.

About the Position
As a Lecturer Paramedicine, you will help build the teaching and research profile within the Faculty of Health, making a significant contribution to the Paramedicine discipline at both a local NT and national level. You will develop, teach and coordinate units and courses to foster student retention and successful student outcomes, utilising both on-campus and flexible-modes of teaching and learning support.


About You
To be successful, you will require:

  • Post-graduate qualification in a related field with extensive relevant experience.
  • Eligibility for registration as a Paramedic with AHPRA.
  • Registered or working towards registration with the Paramedicine Board of Australia
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, including an understanding of the importance of contributing to staff meetings, discipline committees and the broader Faculty settings.
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with well-developed time management and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to develop subjects for mixed mode delivery.
  • Research outputs in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Ability to forge strong collaborative links and contribute to the growth of the profession in the region.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the challenges of practice in rural and remote areas.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cultural safety principles

Remuneration 

Appointment to this role will be at Teaching Focused Academic Level B. The base salary will be in the range of $110,500 to $130,649 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $129,285 to $152,859 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
