The role

  • Full Time, Continuing (2 x positions available)
  • Level B/C - $107,098 to $150,813 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Albury-Wodonga (Working conditions negotiable)

We are currently seeking an experienced Speech Pathology professional to join the School of Allied Health, Exercise and Sports Sciences to be actively engaged in teaching, research, curriculum development and student engagement related to the Master of Speech Pathology course. Successful applicants will be expected to use blended models of subject delivery in teaching students, liaising effectively with the stakeholders of the course, participate in the administration and ongoing curriculum development and progress an active research profile aligned to the strategic direction of the School. Leadership opportunities will be available for candidates appointed at Senior Lecturer level.

Preference will be given to candidates in a specialised field (e.g. fluency, voice, language, speech, etc.), with a specific population (i.e. adult, paediatric), or across the lifespan for a variety of fields of practice.

About you

  • Qualifications in line with the level being applied for in Speech Pathology or equivalent accreditation and standing.
  • Eligibility for current full registration as a speech pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Record of research/publication or professional activity relevant to Speech Pathology, which demonstrates developing capacity to make autonomous contributions.
  • For appointment at Level C, you need to have substantial experience in, and comprehensive knowledge of, a breadth of Speech Pathology practice areas. with significant record of research/publication and/pr professional activity relevant to Speech Pathology.
