Johnston Withers is a well-established and respected South Australian law firm who require the services of a Legal Assistant for their Adelaide office.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a positive, proactive and dedicated Legal Assistant (preferably with 2 years minimum past experience) to support a busy team of professionals who work in our Personal Injury team. Experience in this area of practice would be highly regarded.
Your tasks will include:
- Providing personal support to team leader
- Typing and audio transcription
- Drafting and amending documents and correspondence
- Diary management
- Preparing and filing of Court documents
- Communicating with clients, counsel and other parties
- File management (filing, opening and closing files), invoicing
- General administration (photocopying, printing, scanning etc)
The key to success lies in you possessing the following skills:
Candidate Skills:
- Experience in administration within a similar environment
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Dedication to providing outstanding client service
- High standard of personal presentation
- Sound organisation skills, able to work under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines
- Ability to accept responsibility, use initiative and work as part of our friendly and enthusiastic team
- High level of attention to detail
- Proficient computer skills
- Experience using Affinity software an advantage
