Our client is seeking to fill the role of a a skilledLegal Secretarywho brings with them a positive attitude, eagerness to learn and grow and legal industry experience of 1 - 2 years.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to senior team members;
- Drafting legal documents, correspondence;
- Preparing briefs;
- Organise and maintain legal files and documents;
- Diary and email management;
- Coordinate communication between Solicitors, clients, and court personnel
- Conduct legal research as needed;
- Dictation (minimal)
- Assist with end of month accounts and document conversions;
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or similar role;
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and legal software;
- Excellent typing and transcription skills;
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities;
- Attention to detail and accuracy;
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and
- A proactive and self-motivated attitude.
