Permanent full-time for a Leisure & Activities Coordinator to work directly for our client in Victoria !

• Aged Care facility in Monrington Peninsula
• Pay rate between: $35 to negotiable
• Travel time for candidates travelling over 45 minutes.

About the role

The Leisure & Activities Coordinator collaborates with the Home Manager and Clinical Leadership team to create, develop, and execute both individual and group activities for residents. This role requires a deep understanding of the residents’ identities, cultures, diversity, beliefs, and life experiences

Required

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and implementation of evidence-based group and individualised programs to enhance residents overall wellbeing
• Assessment, review and ongoing evaluation of effectiveness of lifestyle programs to ensure they are meeting residents individual needs
• Engagement with residents, their families, carers and other support personnel to develop strong and meaningful relationships
• Contribution to a strong community through maintaining high levels of emotional support and positivity.

To be a successful candidate, you will have:

• Certificate IV in Lifestyle & Leisure OR similar qualification OR industry experience
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Current Working with Children Check (VIC)
• Full Australian working rights
• Willingness to obtain yearly flu vaccination (provided)
