About the role
This is a permanent, full-time position working 38 hours per week. This position is located at the Bay & Basin Leisure Centre
Duties
Reporting directly to the Bay & Basin Leisure Centre Coordinator, the focus of this position is to:
- To provide a friendly and efficient service to all customers
- To pro-actively provide information to always promote the Centre to the public
- To respond positively to customer enquiries
- To provide a reception/cafe service as and when required
- To maintain the cleanliness of all areas of the Centre
- To ensure that all users behave in an orderly manner at all times and take appropriate action should any member of the public misuse the facilities
- To assist with the delivery of continuous improvement plans
- To assist in the maintenance, use and updating of equipment
Skills & Experience
To be successful in the position, you will be/ possess:
- Current accredited First Aid Award
- Current Pool Lifeguard Award
- Current Working with Children check
- Proof of Australian residency or citizenship, or authority to work in Australia (visa)
This position requires a current NSW Working with Children Check. Applicants are required to apply and pay for this check if not already obtained.
