About the role
We are currently seeking a Level 1 Registered Nurse with strong leadership and interest in career progression to join our leadership team as a Level 2 Registered Nurse on a permanent 0.8 FTE basis.
Your main duties will include:
- Provides advanced clinical care to patients based on best practice principles.
- Acts as a clinical resource and problem solver for Registered and Enrolled nurses in the management of patient care.
- Uses effective communication skills when interacting with patients, significant others and other health professionals. Acts as a client advocate, collaborating to achieve optimum health outcomes.
- Promotes and participates in team building and decision-making.
- Provides leadership and support on the ward as part of the current leadership team.
About you
- Recent experience in the nursing speciality related to the position, including relevant advanced clinical and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrates effective communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collegiate team environment.
- Demonstrates effective leadership, mentoring and coaching skills.
- Demonstrates application of human resource principles and the ability to adapt to a changing environment.
