Level 5 Arborist

Heritage Tree Care has an opportunity within our team based in Brisbane, Queensland. As part of the team, you will be working on council projects and various sites around Brisbane. This is not a rural position or low profile, you will be working on some of the largest projects available. It is a great opportunity to explore a new area and show off the skills that Arborists are known for!

About your new role

This is an opportunity to be involved in the full scope of Arboriculture. You will also work to identify and treat diseased trees and control specific pests and pathogens.

• Preparation of detailed Impact Assessment Reports, Tree Protection Plans & Vegetation Management Plans.
• Tree surveys & data collection utilizing GNSS systems.
• Identification of tree disease and application of appropriate treatments.
• Provide a high level of customer service.

What you will need to exceed

We are looking for reliable candidates who enjoy providing high-quality tree maintenance services. A strong sense of teamwork, a commitment to safety and ability to ensure that all machinery and operations are conducted according to specific guidelines.

• AQF Level 5
• 5 Years+ Industry Experience
• Competency in all aspects of Arboricultural report preparations.
• Understanding of relevant industry & Australian standards.
• Tree risk assessment experience with TRAQ/QTRA qualifications. (Desirable)
• Experience in decay detection including Tomograph and Resistograph equipment looked upon favorably.
• Open Drivers License.
• Experience in ArborCad or similar an advantage.
• Work Safely in the Construction Industry.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
