Optimal Medication Solutions provides Medication Management Services to Aged Care Facilities and community clients within Western Australia.
We are a Pharmacy with a difference, whilst we are a PBS Approved Pharmacy, we don’t have the distractions of a regular retail pharmacy.

We need to recruit a talented person with the passion to go the extra distance and provide superior care and problem solving to the residential aged care facilities we service.
Recent reports indicate that 7 out of 10 aged care facilities do not make a profit! We are determined that Optimal Medication Solutions (OMS) can be a proactive partner with the facilities and their team to be much more than just a packing supply pharmacy and become a key resource to help them deal with the challenges they face.
This position will be a direct report to our Liaison Pharmacist Manager. Our Liaison Manager will provide direction on your areas that you will focus on, which will change from time to time.
Your role will be many and varied so you will need to develop a deep understanding of our business and also the needs of our facilities and take ownership on our behalf to resolve any cares or concerns our facilities and their team members may have with any aspect of our service.
A key component of your role will be to take ownership of onboarding new facilities and providing education to their team members on all our systems to ensure we deliver a trouble-free process.
Having a current Immuniser Authority qualification is a definite advantage.
Being proficient and fluent in communication is an absolute necessity so that timely and accurate analysis of any problems can be delivered to our team to enable us to rapidly resolve issues.
Your role often will require attendance at Medication Advisory Committee (MAC) meetings, so you need to be confident in front of a small audience and of course have the necessary immunisation requirements including the current Influenza and Covid Vaccinated status.
