LIBRARY SERVICE COORDINATOR

The successful candidate will thrive on challenges and will be asked to:
- Implement a new library management system.
- Provide strategies to both staff and students around online and print resources for research-based tasks.
- Promote and monitor college wide information literacy across year levels and curriculum areas.
- Develop and implement strategies for evaluation of the resource collection.
- Determination of curriculum and student requirements within the college priorities.
- Develop policies and procedures for selecting resources which meet curriculum and informational and student recreational needs.
- Provide access to information resources through efficient and well guided systems for the organisation, retrieval and circulation of library resources.
- Provide training and assistance to Students and staff around the effective use of library systems and resources.
- Develop budget estimates to ensure teaching and learning requirements are met.
- Assist and collaborate in planning of special events, displays and promotions.
To fit comfortably into any of these roles, you will need to be an enthusiastic, hands on and helpful team player; with strong written, verbal and inter-personal skills. Completely computer-literate with provable project support proficiencies, you are collaborative and co-operative. You will be flexible and responsive to the needs of the school community and driven to achieve the best outcomes.
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications
- Teaching accreditation including QCT registration or working with Children Check is essential
