About our opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Library Services Coordinator to join our Library Senior Leadership team and leaders within the Cultural Services Department.
Reporting directly to the Library Services Manager, you will lead and coordinate the delivery of consistent, contemporary, and dynamic library service across a number of sites within the City of Moreton Bay Library Service. You will lead a suite of Senior Leaders and adopt a proactive and innovative approach to service provision across our region.
A key part of your role will be the provision of expert advice to the Library Services Manager in the development of library strategies, budgets and reporting to enhance customer experience outcomes.
Additionally, you will:
- Work closely with the Library Senior Leadership team to coordinate the planning and delivery of library facility improvement projects, ensuring buildings and spaces enhance customer experience.
- Coordinate the library network’s customer experience function; address issues regarding service provision, responding to escalated matters and report on service outcomes.
- Develop and manage library service delivery through a range of workforce management initiatives.
- Provide leadership to library teams in developing a customer centric culture of innovation, learning, continuous improvement, and service enhancement.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in Library and Information Management or other relevant field and hold/be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check for child related employment (Blue Card).
