About the Role:
Seymour College is seeking applications from enthusiastic, innovative and student-centered applicants to work as a Library Technician.
2 days per week worked flexibly between the hours of 7:30am - 6:15pm during term time.
The successful applicant will have:
- relevant tertiary qualification, certificate or diploma
- current Working With Children’s Check (WWCC) certificate
- current Responding to Abuse and Neglect certificate
- current First Aid certificate
- Experience using Accessit Library Management System
- strong ICT skills, including maintenance of a variety of online systems
- the ability to work flexibly as part of a team
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- the ability to work on own initiative
- excellent organisational skills
- excellent oral communication skills, especially in relation to staff, students and parents
- enthusiasm, be energetic, flexible and have a pro-active attitude
- a positive approach to change and development
- have a confident attitude, be articulate and engaging with a personal warmth that engenders mutual respect with students, staff and parents
- a strong ‘can do’ attitude
Applicants must have a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC), First Aid Certificate and Responding to Abuse and Neglect Certificate.
